In this national report, selection of some of the most impressive and challenging concrete structures built in Croatia during the period from 2002-2006 is given. The book consists of five chapters; the first chapter includes research into possible structural applications of technically advanced concretes, investigation into ultimate spans and innovative structural solutions for bridges, study of long-term deformations in bridges, safety and serviceability of concrete structures with respect to design provisions and requirements of new standards. The second chapter shows the Croatian motorway network development, while the third one highlights the achievements of Croatian bridge designers through analysis of the most important bridges, either already completed, in the phase of design/construction or the ones going through the phase of repair/rehabilitation during this period. The forth chapter gives an overview of the most important tunnels, with examples of two longest ones; Mala Kapela and Sveti Rok. In the final chapter the most important buildings and industrial plants built in Croatia during this period are shown.
