3rd Chinese-Croatian Joint Colloquium on "Sustainable Arch Bridges" (Zagreb – Croatia, July 15 – 22, 2011)

The Colloquium will be organized according to the following schedule:
- Scientific Programme: July 15-16, 2011 in Zagreb, Croatia
- Technical tours: July 17-22, 2011 to highlight major accomplishments of structural engineering in Croatia and neighbouring countries.
You are kindly invited to submit abstracts at arch@grad.hr by 30 April 2011 on the following Themes and Topics:

| Chinese-Croatian Joint Colloquium on "Long span bridges" |
The main objective of this Colloquium is to exchange experiences and to present main achievements in the area of Arch Bridges Engineering among the engineers from China and Croatia.
The Colloquium will contain the state-of-the-art of the arch bridges at present, with Chinese contributions on latest Chinese achievements (including concrete, CFST and steel arch bridges) and Croatian contributions on mainly Croatian and some significant European arch bridges.
The Colloquium is organized by University of Zagreb - Faculty of Civil Engineering and Fuzhou University - College of Civil Engineering. (more...)

Construction Aspects of Heritage Protection
The global objective of European care for heritage protection is to promote new sustainable and preventive strategies, concepts, methodologies and techniques for conservation and restoration of cultural heritage in order to improve the quality of life of citizens and the attractiveness of Europe, particularly its cities, buildings and landscapes.
The importance of this cultural wealth can be measured in economic and social terms, in employment, job creation and has considerable impact in many areas such as the environment, construction, tourism, regional development to enhance the European competitiveness and skills.
The Conference and Brokerage event is intended to bring forward the research ideas for projects to be launched within the forthcoming seven-year period of research supported by European Commission through 7th Framework Programme, European Industry and authorities of EU Member and Candidate States. DANI BETONA- Stručno usavršavanje
HDGK u suradnji s Građevinskim fakultetom i Institutom građevinarstva Hrvatske organizira niz stručno-znanstvenih skupova u sklopu kojih će biti održana temeljita predavanja, okrugli stolovi i radionice o temi novih propisa za beton, zidane i čelične konstrukcije.
Predviđa se održavanje središnjeg skupa jednom godišnje u lipnju ili listopadu u trajanju od najmanje tri dana na kojem je predviđeno održavanje predavanja, okruglih stolova i radionica, te dodatnih skupova koji će se održavati u gradovima Zagrebu, Rijeci, Osijeku i Splitu. Predavanja će održati naši vodeći stučnjaci uključujući i one koji sudjeluju u izradi, nadzoru primjene ili provedbi građevno-tehničke regulative uključene u program. (više...) |
