Introduction and Objective

The main objective of this Colloquium is to exchange experiences and to present main achievements in the area of Arch Bridges Engineering among the engineers from China and Croatia.

The Colloquium will contain the state-of-the-art of the arch bridges at present, with Chinese contributions on latest Chinese achievements (including concrete, CFST and steel arch bridges) and Croatian contributions on mainly Croatian and some significant European arch bridges.

The Colloquium is organized by University of Zagreb - Faculty of Civil Engineering and Fuzhou University - College of Civil Engineering, based on bilateral project under the title "Exploring the limits of reinforced concrete arch bridges", approved by both Chinese and Croatian ministry of Science. Numerous eminent experts in bridge engineering have accepted to deliver their lectures.
